Girl With A Gun Announces 2 One Act Plays in The Samuel French Competition

Girl With A Gun is proud to announce the production of two one act plays to be competing in the Samuel French One Act Competition—"Roulette Night" and "Love in the Time of Atkins" written by Jason Nunes.

"Roulette Night"
Set in the late night haze of an anonymous gay bar, two men struggle over another's lost soul. There are times we all feel lost. "Roulette Night" explores how far some will go to find themselves—the quest for meaning, love, and a 'purpose in life'—even if that quest may lead to the ultimate tragedy.

Written by Jason Nunes
Directed by Meghan Scibona
Produced by RCL Writers Group
Starring Barry Phillips, Debargo Sanyal, and Ashley Strand

"Love in The Time of Atkins"
What would you do to stay with a man? (Especially one with washboards?) Change your diet? Change your body? Change your life? "Love in the Time of Atkins" is about the lengths we all go for love—even when the person we are going them for may just not be worth it—and about what happens when we finally wake up and smell the decaf tall non-fat latte with Splenda. Can the meat really save you? There's only one way to find out.

Written and Directed by Jason Nunes
Produced by Girl With A Gun Productions
Starring Meghan Scibona
